  Alaskan Way Viaduct

After an earthquake in 2001 it became clear that this critical transportation facility through downtown Seattle was at risk of failure from future earthquake damage.  WSDOT embarked upon this project to identify alternatives for replacement of Highway 99 and the associated seawall. The project team is using CMART to respond to comments on the Draft and Supplemental Draft Environmental Impact Statements.
